Terms of Service

1. What this service is

Burnie Arena, operated by TODO_OPERATOR: legal entity name (we, us), tracks public engagement on X posts that reference the $BURNIE token and were written by participants who have connected their own X account. It converts that engagement into points and distributes a weekly USDC reward pool pro-rata among the top 100 participants by points for that week.

By connecting an X account or a Solana wallet you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not connect.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp., Solana, or any of the service providers named in the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To take part you must meet all of the following:

• your X account is at least 30 days old at the time you link it
• your X account has at least 50 followers at the time you link it
• you link exactly one Solana wallet to one X account. One wallet per X account and one X account per wallet, enforced in both directions.
• the linked wallet holds at least the minimum USD value of $BURNIE — currently 50 USD. This is checked once per UTC day from a balance snapshot, valued at the token price for that snapshot, and a post only qualifies if the holding gate was met on the day the post was created.
• you are legally permitted to take part where you live, and you are not subject to sanctions or otherwise barred from receiving payment

The holding minimum is not a deposit. You keep custody of your own tokens throughout — we only read the balance. The minimum may change, and any change applies from the next daily snapshot forward.

3. How points are earned

Points come from the engagement your own posts receive. A post qualifies if you authored it, it is not a pure retweet, it contains the $BURNIE cashtag, a mention of the official project handle, or the contract address, and your holding gate was met on the day you posted it.

• Each qualifying post scores from its public engagement — impressions, likes, bookmarks, replies, reposts and quotes — under a published weighting, adjusted by content and posting-streak multipliers.
• Each post has a fixed 72-hour scoring window from the moment it was published. When that window closes the score is final, and the post counts toward the epoch in which the window closed, which may be the week after the one you posted in.
• Only your five highest-scoring qualifying posts per UTC day count. Anything beyond that is stored and displayed but contributes zero.
• A single post’s score is capped, so one viral post cannot decide a week.
• Quest bounties and a capped referral bonus are added on top of your post points.

Metrics come from X and can lag, be revised by X, or stop arriving. If the monthly X API budget is exhausted, ingestion halts and every score freezes until the next billing cycle; the site says so when this happens. Leaderboard positions are provisional until an epoch closes.

4. Rewards

At each weekly epoch close we rank participants by points, take the top 100, and divide the pool in proportion to each participant’s share of the top-100 point total. Amounts round down to two decimals and the remainder rolls into the following week’s pool. An operator then sends the payouts manually.

Rewards are discretionary. Nothing here creates an entitlement, a debt, or a contractual right to payment. We may change the size of the pool, change how it is divided, pause distributions, or end the program entirely, at any time and without notice. Payouts are executed by hand and may be delayed, corrected, or withheld where we believe a rule in these terms has been broken.

Points are not currency. They are not redeemable, not transferable, not tradeable, and have no value outside this program. They confer no ownership, equity, revenue share, governance right, or claim of any kind against us or anyone else.

Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell a security or any other financial instrument, and nothing here is investment, tax, or legal advice. $BURNIE is a volatile asset whose value can fall to zero; taking part requires you to hold it, and that risk is yours alone. You are responsible for any taxes arising from rewards you receive.

5. Your obligations on X

You must comply with X’s Terms of Service and the X Rules, including the platform manipulation and spam policy. These terms do not override them, and nothing we reward is permission to break them.

You are rewarded for creating your own posts, and for nothing else. We do not pay anyone to like, repost, reply to, bookmark, follow, or otherwise engage with other people’s posts. Points accrue only on posts you authored yourself. Engaging with someone else’s post earns you nothing here, and we will never ask you to.

You must not attempt to manipulate engagement on X. That includes buying, selling, exchanging or soliciting likes, reposts, replies, follows or views; engagement pods and reciprocal-engagement groups; automation or bots that generate engagement; and any other artificial inflation of the metrics this service reads.

6. Prohibited conduct

The following will remove you from the program:

• Sybil accounts — operating more than one X account or wallet to take part more than once, or coordinating accounts you control
• Engagement farming — posting to inflate volume rather than to say anything, including duplicated, templated, or near-identical content
• Purchased engagement — paying for, trading, or otherwise acquiring likes, reposts, replies, impressions or followers
• Coordinated inauthentic posting — groups posting near-identical content in a narrow window, or otherwise acting in concert to game the score
• impersonating another person or project, or posting unlawful, hateful, or deliberately misleading content about the project
• attacking, probing, or interfering with this service, its scheduled jobs, or its API access

Where we detect an anomaly we raise a flag for human review rather than penalising automatically — a genuinely viral post can look like an attack from the numbers alone. Following review, and depending on what we find, we may suspend your participation, zero the score of specific posts or of an entire epoch, withhold or reverse a decision to pay unpaid rewards, and remove you from the program permanently. Rewards already sent on-chain cannot be reversed by us.

A suspended participant stops accruing immediately and is excluded from the current week’s ranking. Epochs that have already closed and been paid are not reopened, because doing so would invalidate payments already made.

7. Changes to the scoring rules

The scoring weights, multipliers and caps are held in version control under a formula version number, and every score we compute records the version that produced it. We may change them — to close an exploit, to rebalance, or because the program has changed shape.

Changes are not retroactive. They apply to scores computed after the change takes effect. Epochs that have already closed and been paid are not recomputed under a new formula.

8. Suspension, termination, and availability

We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time, with or without notice, and we may suspend, change, or end the whole program at any time. If you leave voluntarily using Disconnect on your dashboard, you keep your all-time points and tier but stop accruing; re-linking the same X account restores your existing record rather than creating a new one.

The service is provided on a best-effort basis. It depends on X, on Solana RPC and price providers, and on scheduled jobs that can fail or be rate-limited. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we do not promise that any particular metric, score, or rank is complete or free of error.

9. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that scores, ranks, or payout calculations will be free of defects, or that any defect will be corrected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, nor for lost profits, lost tokens, lost opportunity, movements in the price of any token, the acts of X or any other third-party service, or the suspension or termination of the program.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the USDC rewards, if any, calculated for you for the epoch giving rise to the claim and not yet paid.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these exclusions, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the revised version appears here and the date at the top is updated. Continuing to take part after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of TODO_OPERATOR: governing jurisdiction, and any dispute is subject to the courts of TODO_OPERATOR: governing jurisdiction.
